# How to edit the details of a user

This guide offers a quick overview of how to edit the details of a user.

### Steps:

1. Open the web portal and log in.

2. Navigate to the **Settings** tab, then select the **Users** sub-tab.

3. Click anywhere within the user area.

4. There are three edit icons available.

5. Click on the **first edit icon** to update the user's name and phone number (note that the email address cannot be changed) and **save** the changes.

6. Click on the **second edit icon** to update the roles and **save** the changes.

7. Click on the **third edit icon** to update the password and save the changes by clicking **'Change Password'.**
