# How to edit the details of a vehicle

This guide offers a quick overview of how to edit the details of a vehicle.

### Steps:

1. Open the web portal and log in.

2. Navigate to the **Settings** tab, then select the **Vehicles** sub-tab.

3. Click anywhere within the vehicle area.

4. There are **four edit icons** available and **driver** dropdown.

5. Click on the **first edit icon** to add/update vehicle details such as the profile picture, plate number, nickname make/model, tags, and vehicle type and **save** the changes.

6. Click on the **second edit icon** to update details such as the **vehicle weight, vehicle box size dimensions, speed factor value**, and **save** the changes.

||| **Speed factor:**
||| By default, the **speed factor** is set to 1, and indicates the driving time between stops are equal to how long time it takes to go from A to B.
||| If the driving time needs to be longer than the norm, the **Speed factor** is set to be HIGHER than 1. ***Longer driving time can be set to 1.5, and the driving-time will be 150% of the norm = 50% longer driver-time than the norm***
||| For faster speed, the **driving-time** is set to be **less** than 1. ***Higher speed can be set to 0.8, and the speed will then be 80% times the norm = driving faster than the norm***

7. Click on the **third edit icon** to edit **hub and trip locations** and **start times**.

8. Click on the **forth edit icon** to update the **additional feature details** of the **vehicle** and **save** the changes.

9. Click on the **dropdown** menu to **change or adding** driver for a **vehicle**.
