How to create places

This guide offers a quick overview of how to create places.

Places serve as central points where drivers drop off orders after pickup. Either the same driver or a different one, will then pick up orders from this location for delivery tasks (via hub orders). Additionally, the location will serve as the starting/ending point for (A to B orders). You can view the starting/ending point in the Vehicles and Dispatching tabs.

Steps:

Open the web portal and log in.

Navigate to the "Settings" tab, then select the "Locations" sub-tab. Click on the "+" button.

"Create location" form will be displayed.

Name (Enter any name you prefer).

The location name can be anything, just for easy identification and remembering when you assign different places to different vehicles.

Address (Enter the location of your place).

Choose one checkbox: 'My company only' or 'Network connections'.

My company only: Selecting this option ensures that the places are restricted for use and visibility within your company only.
Network connections: This option allows your location to be visible to your networks. However, please note that the functionality of this checkbox is currently under development. We will provide more details once it is released.

Description section(Enter any additional information about the place if required).

Click on Create button.

Place created. you can add more as needed.

Check the app's status here. If you can't access Dropboy, chat or report issues
