How to add 'Mandatory instruction review' during order creation

This guide offers a quick overview of how to add 'Mandatory instruction review' during order creation.


Introduction:


Dropboy provides a feature in the order creation form that allows for mandatory instructions that drivers must review first before proceeding. This is a valuable feature for highlighting important notes. Follow the steps below to learn how.


Steps:


  1. Open the web portal and log in.

  1. Navigate to the Orders tab.

  1. Click on the Plus button.



  1. Order Creation form will open. Order Creation form has five sections.



  1. Observe the Comments section under 'Sender and Pickup' and 'Receiver and Delivery.'


These sections allow you to add notes for both.


  1. Click on one of the Comments sections.


For example, to add notes under 'Sender and Pickup.'


  1. Edit Instruction popup will open.



  1. Add any note in the comment field.


For example, "There is one instruction file that needs to be reviewed."


  1. Select the 'Review Required' checkbox.



  1. Click on '+ Add New File'.



  1. The 'What Position?' popup will open.



  1. Enter the position number, Click Add button.


Assigning a number sets the display order of instruction files. Multiple instruction files can be added, so position needs to be defined. For example, if you add a third file but want it to appear first, enter "1" to place it in the first position.


  1. After assigning a position, three fields appear: 'File Name,' 'Description,' and 'URL,' along with the position count.



  1. Enter any name in the file name field.



  1. Enter description.



  1. Enter URL.



  1. Click Cross Icon.



  1. Observe that the comment count shows "1" with the instruction file, and the Review Required text is displayed.
