How to create custom template for the order creation form

This guide offers a quick overview of how to create custom template for the order creation form.


Introduction:

Dropboy offers a feature to create custom templates for the order creation form. This allows us to add or remove fields, making it possible to design our own template instead of using the default form. Follow the steps below to learn how.

Steps:



Open the web portal and log in.

Navigate to the Orders tab.

If unfamiliar with basic navigation, follow this article: How to learn 'Basic Navigation' of the web Dropboy application



Click on the Plus button.



Order Creation form will open. Order Creation form has five sections.



Observe the plus icon to the left of the 'No template selected (*)' dropdown.



Click plus icon.



All fields in the order creation form have checkboxes enabled and ticked checkboxes.

These fields have ticked checkboxes that can be kept or removed. Scroll down to view the full form; the example screenshot shows only half.



Deselect the fields to remove them from the order creation form.

For example, deselect the fields such as 'Company Name', 'Contact person', 'Prefix', and 'Comments' from both sections.



Enter the any name in the 'Template Name' field. e,g "My First Order Creation Form Template"



Save button will be enabled. Click the Save button.



After saving, the template is selected automatically. Unchecked fields are removed.
