Container Management › Container Summary


The Container Summary gives a consolidated view of all containers registered in the system, including their current status, location, and associated metadata. It is the primary place to review stock at a container level.


How to Access


  1. Click Container Management in the left sidebar to expand the sub-menu.
  2. Select Container Summary.



Reading the Summary Table



  • The Summary view is divided in to two areas. One is the search area and the other is the result area.



  • The search area is expanded by default. Select the search criteria and select search to show the report. The search area will collapse and show the selected criteria on the bar.


  • You can expand the search bar using the arrow or you can use the Clear All action button and it will clear the search criteria and expand the search.


The Report




  1. SR# Shows the numberof rows
  2. Company Name - When ever there is a transaction made it shows the company that the transaction was made for.
  3. Container - When a driver either delivers or picks up a container during their route. This is the container category
  4. Type - This is the category sub type which is what the report is grouped by.
  5. Opening Balance - When the user selects a from date, the system checks all the transactions till that date and shows the current opening balance for the selected date.
  6. Credit - The Driver taking a container from a customer is a credit
  7. Debit - The Driver giving a container to a customer is a debit
  8. Closing balance - The closing balance is calculated as Opening balance + Credit - Debit = Closing balance
  9. Comments - If closing balance is positive then it shows that the main company owes the customer of the company the transaction was made for.


Exporting Container Summary



  • Apply your desired filters to narrow the data.
  • Click the Export button. You will need to expand the search area to be able to see it


  • The export job is queued and will appear in the Download List.



Navigate to Download List to retrieve the file once processing is complete and you can download the files in CSV format.


Note: We have chosen CSV to accomodate large datasets with its lightweight, plain-text structure which allows it to scale infinitely and process rapidly without the row limits or memory overhead.
