How to configure status settings for an order under the dispatching tab
This guide offers a quick overview of how to configure status settings for an order under the dispatching tab.
Introduction:
Dropboy provides a feature to send order statuses, such as proof of pickup and delivery, Drive now, order failed, and order pickup/delivered, to email and phone numbers. However, you need to set up these types of statuses in the order details and webhook settings. This article is solely intended to describe how to configure status settings under an order.
Steps:
- Open the web portal and log in.

- Navigate to the Dispatching tab and click on it.
- For example, choose any 'Tasks List' order and click on the order tile.
- All information sections of the order will be opened.
- Click on the order details section's edit button.
- The Edit order window will be opened.
- Scroll down to see under the Pickup and Delivery section, there are 'Send "Proof of Pickup" email on pickup' and 'Send "Proof of Delivery" email on delivery,' both with an 'Activate SMS service' checkbox."
- Enable the 'Send "Proof of Pickup" email on pickup' or 'Send "Proof of Delivery" email on delivery' checkboxes.
Only proof of pickup/delivery will be sent via email. Don't forget to save, which is Step 10, otherwise, the settings will be discarded.
- Click on 'Activate SMS service' (Four others 'Drive Now,' 'Task status,' 'Order delivered,' and 'Order delivered failed' are shown). Enable accordingly."
Only enabled checkbox statuses will be sent when the dispatcher sends status for a single or all vehicle orders. Don't forget to save, which is Step 10, otherwise, the settings will be discarded.
- Click on save button.
