How to set or change 'End Point Location' for a vehicle as default

This guide offers a quick overview of how to set or change 'End Point location' for a vehicle as default.


Introduction:

Dropboy offers a feature to set or change default 'End Point location' for a vehicle. This is useful at the vehicle level, as it eliminates the need to set this location daily under the dispatching tab.

You can also set the 'End Point location' while creating a vehicle, follow this article: How to create a vehicle

Steps:



Open the web portal and log in.

If unfamiliar, follow this article: How to login in to the Dropboy web application

Navigate to the Settings tab, then select the vehicles sub-tab.



Choose the vehicle that you want to set up 'End Point location'. This depends on your vehicle list.



For example, 'Demo_Vehicle_005'. Click anywhere within the vehicle area.



The vehicle details screen will be opened.



There are four edit icons available and a driver dropdown.



Observe 'End Point location' under 'Hub and trip locations' and click the third edit icon to set or change it.



The 'Hub and trip locations' form will be opened.



Click on the 'Preferred ending point trips' dropdown.



Your 'preferred ending point trips' are displayed,

These 'preferred ending point trips' are setup at the company level.

Choose the location you want to change the 'End Point location' to default. e.g Dropboy_WareHouse_ End-Location_01



Click on the save button.



After saving, confirm under the 'Hub and trip locations' area. The 'End Point location' will be updated.



Remmeber: All locations such as Hub, Start, and End Point Location could be the same. There's no issue with selecting the same location. You need to understand these different concepts and select locations according to your vehicle or driver preference.
