How to enable the 'task list' of a vehicle for 'Choose trip' role vehicles

This guide offers a quick overview of how to enable the 'task list' of a vehicle for 'Choose trip' role vehicles.


Introduction:


Dropboy provides a feature to enable the 'task list' of a vehicle for vehicles with the 'Choose trip' role. This is helpful when, for example, Vehicle A has the 'Choose trip' role and no tasks assigned. In this case, they can view your vehicle B or any other vehicle for which you have enabled this feature. Steps:


  1. Open the web portal and log in.


If unfamiliar, follow this article: How to login in to the Dropboy web application


  1. Navigate to the Settings tab, then select the vehicles sub-tab.



  1. Choose the vehicle that you want to enable 'task list'. This depends on your vehicle list.



  1. For example, 'Demo_Vehicle_001'. Click anywhere within the vehicle area.



  1. The vehicle details screen will be opened.



  1. There are four edit icons available and a driver dropdown.



  1. Click on the third edit icon for 'Hub and trip locations'.



  1. The 'Hub and trip locations' form will be opened.



  1. Select the checkbox for 'Make visible for drives with the role "Choose trip"'.



  1. Click on the save button.



  1. After saving, you can confirm that under 'Hub and trip locations', the 'Make visible for drives with the role "Choose trip"' value will change to 'The route can be selected'



Sign in with the driver account that has the 'Choose trip' role and no tasks assigned, and go to the task list. There is a button that, when clicked, shows a list of vehicles for which you have enabled this checkbox.
