How to make a new contract

This guide offers a quick overview of how to make a new contract.

Introduction:

Think of a contract as a special agreement you make when you start working with a company. Similarly, dropboy lets you create this agreement even after you've connected with another company. It's like writing down important rules that both sides agree on. The steps to make the contract are the same for both order monitoring and logistic companies. No matter what type of company you are, follow the steps below to make contract.

Steps:

Open the web portal and log in.

If unfamiliar, follow this article: How to login in to the Dropboy web application

Navigate to the Settings tab, then select the Network sub-tab.

The option My private network is selected by default

Click anywhere within the network area.

On the right side, click 'New Contract' button.

Enter contract name in the Contract name field.
Click the 'Upload' button and select any contract PDF file. Note: Only PDF format is supported, other formats will not work.
Choose contract type: Two options available - 'Distribution' and 'Ad hoc'. You can select both, either one of them.

Choosing 'Distribution' allows your company to forward 'Via hub' orders to the logistic company.
Opting for 'Ad hoc' enables your company to forward 'A to B' orders to the logistic company.
Selecting both options allows your company to forward both 'Via Hub' and 'A to B' orders to the logistic company.

Click on 'Offer contract' button.

After creating a contract, observe the status icon, contract name, file name, and contract ID under the contract section. For further details on contract status, refer to the article: How to check the contract status after creation
