How to set 'Start times' to begin from the previous day
This guide offers a quick overview of how to set 'Start times' to begin from the previous day.
Introduction:
Dropboy provides a feature to set the 'start time' from the previous day. For example, if you set the start time for Tuesday but want it to begin on Monday, it will automatically apply from Monday. You don't need to set Monday individually, though you can if desired. This approach automatically implements the start time. You can set any day's start time to begin from the previous day.
Steps:
- Open the web portal and log in.
- Navigate to the Settings tab, then select the vehicles sub-tab.
- Choose the vehicle that you want to set up'Start times'. This depends on your vehicle list.
- For example, 'Demo_Vehicle_001'. Click anywhere within the vehicle area.
- The vehicle details screen will be opened.
- There are four edit icons available and a driver dropdown.
- Click on the third edit icon for 'Hub and trip locations'.
- The 'Hub and trip locations' form will be opened.
- For example, you already set up 'Tuesday'. Now you want it to start from Monday means previous day which is monday.
- Select the 'Tuesday' 'Start day before' checkbox.
- Click on the save button.
- After saving, you can confirm that under 'Hub and trip locations', that the Tuesday time with 'start day before' text is shown.
- Navigate to the Dispatching tab, open that vehicle's task list, and notice that the Start time will be visible on the first task tile for monday as well.
