How to quickly set the sequence of orders by next geo location using the 'Optimize trip' feature
This guide offers a quick overview of how to quickly set the sequence orders by next geo location for vehicle trips, considering start and end locations.
Introduction:
For this, Dropboy's 'Optimize trip' quickly sorts orders based on next geo location, excluding streets, roads, bridges, or any element affecting map distance. It rearranges orders based on proximity to the 'Starting point location' and the 'End point location.' The first order is closest to the starting point, and subsequent orders follow. The last order is nearest to the end point.

Open the web portal and log in.
If unfamiliar, follow this article: How to login in to the Dropboy web application
Navigate to the Dispatching tab and click on it.
Click on the any vehicle.
The 'Tasks List' opens, and on the map, all order stops become visible with lines. These stops appear according to your orders sequence.
If your 'Tasks List' is empty, follow this article to learn about: How to assign orders to a vehicle from the filters list using the drag-and-drop feature
If there is no line on the map between stops, for enabling it, follow this article: How to enable or disable trips path or lines on the map
If you don't know about stop numbers, follow this article: What is the stop number and how to view stops on orders and the map
Click on the 'Optimize trip' icon. (Before clicking, take a quick look at the map and the sequence of orders in the 'Tasks List'.)
Notice that the 'Tasks List' has been rearranged, and consequently, the path on the map has changed.
Compare this with Step 5. 'Order-003' is now at the top because it is near the starting point. The second order is close to the first, and so on. The last order is near the endpoint location. And you'll notice changes in distance and duration.
Remember: There is no limit, meaning you can sort/optimize an unlimited number of orders for the 'Tasks List' .
Tip:
After optimization, you can perform various actions. For instance, if you have 200 orders in the 'Tasks List', you can search by stop number and move selected orders to another vehicle.
